1. Printing Options in OBIEE

The below session brief the usage of printing option in obiee.

1.1    PDF and Print Control

The PDF and Print control for a report located in the “RESULTS” tabs’ let corner side as the icon shown below

On clicking the icon, you will get the below options

·         Page Settings

By Page settings, you can change the

Paper Size – Allow you to set the paper size

Page Orientation – Define the page orientation

           

Print Rows – Allow to print the visible rows (records visible page by page)  in the reports or all rows in the report. If you enable this option, the system will take all the records of the report (even if it’s not displayed in the page) and print the same

·         Header / Footer

Allows including the Header/Footer for the pages.

Fields available for inserting

           

Example:

·         HTML tags

You can make use of the HTML tags also for printing.

Lets try using the below simple HTML tag in the footer

<font size="5" face="arial" color="red"> Sample HTML Code </font>

ü  The printing option will also work for Downloading to EXCEL. Ie: if you provide the printing option in the report, while downloading the report using PowerPoint, the printing options you provided will appear in the PowerPoint downloaded.
